Equal right to vote
Supporting an equal right to vote
The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy, and to creating a more just and equitable society. We value the democratic process, and believe that voting should be safe and accessible to all Americans, no matter their identity or which political party or candidate they support.
Through our partnerships with nonpartisan organizations including Time to Vote and Civic Alliance, we aim to use our influence to promote an equitable and accessible voting process. Working to protect the right to vote for all Americans is one action we are taking to advance our commitment to equity.
In April 2021, we signed the Joint Statement on Protecting Voting Access. We took this action as hundreds of bills threatened to make voting more difficult – especially for Black people and other historically marginalized groups – in dozens of states, including Georgia and Texas where we have a large employee base. We have also donated to The Advancement Project, a leading civil rights organization that fights for an inclusive and just democracy.
